Survivors include her husband, James Glen Pay, Jr. and son, James G. Pay III, both of the home; four daughters, Norma J. Bullard of Denver, Colo., Mildred Prince of Jacksonville, Erma Sole of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Sarah Joines of Little Rock; three sisters, Iva DeBartello of Fort Worth, Texas, Francis Mauldin of California, and Emma Jenkins Thaggard of California; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Services will be Wednesday (3 Jun 1998) at 10 a.m. at Rumph-Owers Funeral Home Chapel in El Dorado with burial following in Smackover Cemetery under the direction of Rumph-Owers Funeral Homes of El Dorado. LONOKE -- Elmer Clea Martin, 67, died May 31, 1998. He was a member of the Baptist church. He is survived by his wife, Ann Martin; son, Keith Martin; and three daughters, Rita Parnell, Pam Martin and Jo Talley, all of Lonoke; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; one brother, William (Dub) Martin of California, and sister, Sybil Brumett of California. She was a member of the Victory Baptist Church in Cabot. Survived by her husband, Paul Wright of Cabot; two sons, Harvey O. Johnson and wife Felicia of Cabot, Matt Wright of Pine Bluff; a daughter, Sharon Carmical and husband Steve of San Antonio, Texas; parents, Jess and Faye Hicks of Beebe; four sisters, Jessie Staton of Pine Bluff, Mary Ann Hout of Beebe, Peggy Baker of England, Debbie Carlock of North Little Rock; and four grandchildren, Emily, Justin, Karl, and Aaron. "Bugs" Morris Jr., age 75, of England died Friday, June 19, 1998. He was born Sept. 11, 1922 in England to Luchen and Ethel Strawn Morris. He was a farmer and a Baptist. He was a part owner of the Hollywood Hunting Club in Hollywood, Ark. and a member of the VFW Post in Stuttgart. Survivors include his wife: Faye Edwards Morris, England; two sons: Jerry Morris, England, Larry Morris, England; one daughter: Johnny Faye Stracener, England; three brothers: Everett Morris, Vilisia, Calif, Billy Morris, McFarland, Calif., Bobby Morris, England; one sister: Winnie Joslin, Conway; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Luchen Sr. and Ethel Morris; three brothers, Jack Morris, Frankie Morris and Ray Morris; and one sister Thelma Taber. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Pate, and her son, Maurice Pate. She was preceded in death by her husband, T.J. Hicks. She was a member of the Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church for 67 years. She worked for Kellwood Industries and retired from Cabot Public Schools. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Glenda and Sam Smith of Ward; a son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Nancy Hicks of Little Rock; five grandchildren, Nick Smith and his wife, Donna, of Carlisle, Jeff Smith of Ward, Pam Bryant and her husband, Tim, all of Cabot, John Hicks of Boston, Mass., and Jason Hicks of Washington, D.C.; three great-grandchildren, Chad and Haylea Bryant and Becca Smith. She is also survived by one sister, Velma Carr of North Little Rock; two brothers, Charlie Smith of Little Rock and Cletus Smith of North Little Rock; and one sister-in-law, Mary Smith of Little Rock. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 30, 1998, at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery by Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe.
