Roy David Lyons

Roy David Lyons, 94, of Hindsville died January 25, 2000 at his home. He was
born June 24, 1902 at Edinburg, Illinois, the son of Preston David and Rosa
Jacobs Lyons. He was a retired commercial artist and had studied at the Art
Institute of Chicago. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Monica
Lawrence Lyons, in 1963 and by his second wife, Nancy Brown-King Lyons, in 1997.
He was also preceded in death by his parents, one son, John King, and one
brother, Allen Lyons.
  Survivors include two sons and daughter-in-law, Richard and Sheryl Lyons of
Markleeville, California, and william and Marian Lyons of Crystal Lake,
Illinois, Mary nan King-Murphy of Portland, Maine, and Sarah and Jim Robinson of
Hindsville; 15 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
  Graveside services were at the Hillside Cemetery at McFarland, Michigan. Local
arrangements were under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home of Huntsville.
