"I am enclosing bible records from the Eitel - Write families.
They come from a Bible presumably owned by Terry Josephine Write.
The Bible was printed in 1853 by the American Bible Society in New York."

Father Eitel was born 1899.
John Jefferson Eitel b. September 30, 1830.
Terry Josephine Eitel b. November 11, 1827.
Francis B. Washington Eitel b. August 3, 1855.
John Monroe Eitel b. August 19, 1856.
P. J. Harrison b. March 3, 1823.
Terry Julia Lderna Harrson b. August 2, 1866.
Emer Ugene Jackson Harrison b. March 5, 1869.
John J. Eitel b. March 19, 1882.
Olen Eitel b. January 12, 1890.

Marriages:
John Jefferson Eitel and terry Josephine Write were married the
14 of September, 1854.
P. J. Harrison and Terry J. Eitel was married Jan. 1864.

Deaths:
Grandfather Poer died the 16 day of November 1852.
Mother Write or Looney died the 12 day of March 1856.
Mother died 1837.
John Jefferson Eitel died the 17th day of January 1859.
Frances B. Washington died October the 2nd, 1861.
One child born dead on March 28, 1865.
Terry Julia Alderna Harrison died on the first March, 1868.
Emer Ugene Jackson Harrison died November 8, 1869.
P. J. Harrison died October 1, 1889.
Terry J. Harrison died February 24, 1902.

There is one additional entry under births:
J. M. Eitel was born August 19, 1856.
J. M. Eitel is 16 years old 1872.

To understand this; Terry Josephine Write married John Jefferson Eitel,
and later married P. J. Harrison.  She had five children including the one
born dead.
She only raised J. M. (John Monroe) and it was important enough for her to
note when he was 16 years old.
