Directions to McKenzie Cemetery, in Miller County, AR Take 196 east toward Garland. Go approximately 3 1/2 miles past Genoa Central Schools to County Road 22, turn right. Follow CR 22 for approximately 2 miles, keeping left at both Y's. Turn left on CR 249 and stay on it for about 7/8 of a mile until pavement ends. Turn right on gravel road. Follow that road about 3/4 miles. Turn back, a sharp right, (west) onto a pipeline, then follow pipeline for about 1/4 mile to the top of the hill. The cemetery lies south (left) in a scope of woods about 50 yards off of the pipeline. NW 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of Sec. 4, Township 17S, Range 26W, Miller County, AR Call 870-653-2632 for further help. These were the only tombstones found so far. William F. McKenzie: June 20, 1880-May 17, 1930 (Headstone) Jacob Scott McKenzie: Dec 29, 1878-Dec. 11, 1904 (Headstone) There are three rings connected on this one with a letter in each one F L T. Daniel W. McKenzie: "Born in Franklin County Ten." Mar 15, 1833-Oct 23, 1892 "Gone but not forgotten" (Headstone) Footstone has Initials DWM and it is broken in half. On the bottom of this stone it has Texarkana Marble Works. Looks like a masonry symbol on it with a G in the middle Elizabeth C. McKenzie: Sept 24, 1844-Aug. 30, 1934 "A tender mother and a faithful friend" (Headstone) Broken headstone: "Gone but not forgotten" Three rings also on this one and they are not connected like the other stone was.
