THE ENON BAPTIST CHURCH: 

About three miles northeast of Ravana, was organized the second Sunday 
in November 1865. 

The first church was destroyed by a storm, was located just across the road 
from the present church. The second building was destroyed by fire. in 1937. 
The third building is located near the cemetery on the Bright Star-Ravana Road. 
First burial  was in 1880 Enon Cemetery.
