1. John N. Cook (b. 1864) m. 1896 Minnie Scurlock (b. 1876). 
2. Daniel Scurlock (1837-96) m. 1860 Virginia Hendricks (1841-1916). 
3. Daniel Scurlock (1799-1838) m. 1825 Lucena Turk (1809-67). 
4. William Scurlock m. 1796 Rhoda Simmons (1771-1831). 

William Seurlock (1763-1840) received a pension, 1833, for service as private in 
the North Carolina troops under Colonels Cleveland and Lewis. He was born in 
Prince William County, Va.; died in Georgia.
