Born in Texarkana, Ark.  - Wife of Allen McCurdy. 

Descendant of Thomas Arnold and of Capt. Lewis Saxon as follows: 
1. William H. Arnold (b. 1867) m. 1887 Jessie C. Arnold (1870-1900). 
2. David S. Arnold (1828-1903) m. 1857 Tempie L. (Arnold) (b. 1837). 
3. William B. Arnold (1791-1847) m. 1823 Lucinda Hardin (1804-78) (parents of Tempie); 
Ira Arnold (b. 1791) m. 1813 Mary Saxon (1796-1878). 
4. Thomas Arnold m. 1786 Mary Bedeston (1766-1857); Lewis Saxon m. 1787 Sally Allen (b. 1769). 

Thomas Arnold (1763-1844) served as private under Captains John Ridgeway and George Martin, 
Colonels Sumter and Casey. He applied for a pension, 1833, and his claim was allowed. 
He was born in Virginia; died in Alabama. 

Lewis Saxon (1765-1813) in 1780 volunteered under Capt. Wm. Harris and Col. Joseph Hays 
and served as private until 1781, when he was appointed captain. He was born and died in 
South Carolina.
