J. D. Adcock died this morning at an early hour at his home on the Lynn
Ferry road and the remains will be shipped tomorrow by the East Undertaking
company to Doddridge for interment.  The deceased, who was about 70 years
of age, was an old resident of Miller County. Definate funeral arrangements
will not be announced until tomorrow.

The body of J. D. Adcock, aged 78, who died yesterday morning at his home
on the Lynn Ferry road, was shipped to Doddridge this morning by the East
Undertaking Co. for interment.  The deceased leaves a widow, five sons and
two daughters as follows: Jake, of Haynesville, La., Less of Nash, Texas,
Tobe of Ardmore, Okla., Henry of Myra, La., and Lee of Bivens, La. Mrs.
Scott, of Gilliam, La., and Mrs. Nelson, of Myra.  The deceased was an old
and well known resident of Miller County.
