"T-Bone" Bolin, 80, died at approximately 11:50 p.m. Wednesday, October 4, in the Oak Grove Nursing Home of Idabel. Born March 19, 1892, in Texarkana, Ark., he had been a resident of Idabel since 1908. He was a retired butcher and farmer and a member of the Central Assembly of God church. Bolin had also served with the Idabel Fire Department for 23 years, serving six years as Idabel's Fire Chief. Survivors include his wife, Vergie, of Idabel; two daughters, Mrs. Floyd McMurtry of Idabel, and Mrs. John Bain of Broken Bow; three step-sons, Wilburn Murphy of Columbia, SC, Charles Murphy of Miami, Fla. and John Murphy of Kassel, Germany: two step-daughters, Mrs. Glenn Gilbreath of Hobbs, NM and Mrs James Pollard of Idabel: four brothers, John F. of Phoenix, Ariz., Jesse of Texarkana, Ark., Henry and Joe Bolin, both of Idabel; two sisters, Mrs. V. M. Rothroh of Corpus Christi, Tex., and Miss Ophelia Bolin of Idabel; four grand children, 11 step-grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Saturday, October 7 in the Idabel Norwood-Welch Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Reuben Ruiz of Hugo, assisted by the Rev. S. B. Perkins of Idabel, officiating. Arrangements and rutial in the Denison cemetery are under the direction of Norwood- Welch Funeral Home.
