All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm *********************************************************** Mrs. Belle Bradley, age 71, mother of Edward Bradley, died this morning at 5:30 o’clock at her residence, 309 Orange Street, after a lingering illness. She was born in Talbaton, Ga., and came to Arkansas with her family, when a young girl. She has resided in Hot Springs for the past 49 years. In addition to her son she is survived by one sister, Mrs. J. L. Wadley of Texarkana, two brothers, A. S. Greer, of this city and Lucian Greer of Los Angeles, Calif., and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will beheld at the First Methodist church tomorrow afternoon at 4 o’clock conducted by the Rev. J. D. Hammons, Pastor. Pallbearers will be D. O. Sims, Walter Dodson, Dr. Foster Jarell, Nick Overstreet, Earl Witt and Lynn Howlett. Burial will be in Hollywood cemetery. In my GGG Aunt Winnie’s stuff. Belle Bradley was Matt Parker’s Aunt. (his mother was Laura Greer’s sister) It is dated with ink pen writing: 7/20/33 The Mrs. Wadly listed in this one is the wife of James Lafayette Wadley who published the Arkansas Gazette for years.
