Services will be at 2 P.M. today in the Sylverino Baptist Church with the Rev. Boyce Green officiating. Burial be in the Sylverino Cemetery under the direction of Texarkana Funeral Home. Born Dec. 24, 1904 in Miller County, Ark. Combs had been a lifetime resident of this area. He was a retired mail-handler and a member of the Springhill Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Nettie Cooper Combs of Fouke, three sons, Ernest Combs of Texarkana, Monty Combs of Fouke, and Wayne Combs of LaMaque, Tex., a brother Charlie P. Combs of Fouke, Three half-brothers, J.D. Combs, Henry Combs, and John O. Combs, all of Fouke, four sisters, Mrs. Mildred Webb, Mrs. Mable Burgess, Mrs Christine Pilgreen and Mrs Cora Smith all of Fouke, five grandchildren and several neices and nephews.
