Obituary:
Funeral services for Andrew Jackson Davis, 83, who died Monday at his
home at 313 1/2 East Broad street, were held at 3pm Tuesday at the
Silverino Baptist church with the Rev. Ell Westbrook officiating. Burial
was in the Silverino Cemetery.

Mr. Davis was born in Miller County, and was a justice of the peace of
the Garland Township.

He is survived by three sons, John T., Guy and George Davis;; three
sisters. Mrs. Bertha Peavy, Mrs. Lucy Grove, and Mrs. Lena Cochran, all
of Texarkana; 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
