Obituary: Funeral services for Calvin A. Davis 53 well known Texarkanian
and retired policeman of the Texarkana, Ark., Police Dept. who died at
8:15 am Friday in a local hospital, will be held at 2pm Saturday at the
East Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. H. A. Grigson officiating. Burial
will be at P. H. cemetery.

Mr. Davis was born Sept. 10, 1901 in Miller Co. He was a member of the
Beech St. Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, one daughter, Mrs. J. T. Albert of Texarkana
one brother Albert H. Davis of Dallas Texas and one grandchild.
