TILLMAN DAVIS

Tillman Davis, 86, of Texarkana Ark., died Sunday, Aug. 26, 2001, in a
local nursing home.

Mr. Davis was born Jan. 15, 1915, in Texarkana. He was retired from A&P
Grocery Store as produce manager, a Baptist, and an Army veteran in World
War II. He was preceded in death by one son, David Davis.

Survivors include his wife, Janie F. Davis of Texarkana; two daughters,
Juliane Foster and Elizabeth Brooks of Texarkana; nine grandchildren and
one great-grandchild. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in East
Memorial Gardens with the Rev. William Garner officiating under direction
of East Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at East Funeral Home
