Mrs. Emma Halbert 79 died at the family home, 222 Hickory Street at 11:10
p.m. Sunday.

Mrs. Halbert was a native of Lafayette County and a member of the Arkansas
Methodist church.

Survivors include the husband, W. F. Halbert, one son John M Halbert, of
Texarkana; four daughters Mrs. Robinson of Houston, Texas, Mrs. Oden of
Shreveport, Mrs. Rogers also of Shreveport and Mrs. Eaton of Texarkana.
Thirteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be held at the East Funeral Home at 4:30 p.m. Monday
and burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be W.J. Bishop, C.C. Hussing, Jack Boddle, Chess
Westbrook. A.J. Reynolds and Frank Mathis.

Honorary pallbearers will be made up of friends of the family.
