Pauline Williams Halbert, 80 of Texarkana, Ark., died Friday, Oct. 23,
1992, in a local hospital.  Mrs. Halbert was born Aug. 10, 1912, in
Texarkana, Texas, and was retired owner of Dot's Roller Rink.  She was a
member of Eylau Christian Church.

Survivors include one son-in-law, Wallace Dickey of Texarkana;  two
daughters, Clara Shumaker of Bossier City, La., and Dorothy Dickey of
Texarkana; one sister, Norene Malone of Nash Texas; three sister-in-law,
Irene Williams of Wake Village, Texas, Dura Purifoy of Texarkana, and Madge
Williams of Dallas, Texas; eight grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 4 p.m. Monday at Woodlawn Cemetery with the Rev.
Carl Teel officiating.  Burial will be under direction of East Funeral
Home.
