Texarkana, June 10 - Leo Krouse, for more than 30 years one of the leading
business men of this section, died today in Memphis where he had been
living for the past year. For many years he was recognized as one of the
most aggressive leaders in the development of Texarkana, being active in
every public movement. He served as president of the Chamber of Commerce
and was founder of the Texarkana Casket Company, one of the largest
concerns of the kind in the Southwest.

He is survived by his wife and two daughters. The body probably will be
brought here for burial.
