VANDENBERGE Dennis Allen Vandenberge, 63 of South Gate, Calif., died Friday in Lynwood, Calif. Services will be at 4 p.m. today at East memorial chapel with the Rev. Ben Shaw officiating. Burial will be in Rocky Mound cemetery. Those wishing to memorialize him may do so by contributing to the Rocky Mound Cemetery Association, 3501 Minden Ave., Texarkana, Ark. Survivors include a son, Richard Allan Vandenberge of South Gate, Calif., a daughter, Lee Ann Vandenberge of South Gate, Calif., four sisters, Mrs. Marie Chestnutt of Fouke, Ark., Mrs. Al Lang of Dallas, Mrs. Iona Joyce Vandenberge of South Gate and Mrs. Opal Arline White of Elizabeth City, NC; two brothers, The Rev. Odell Vandenberge of Sundance, Wyo., and Robert Desmond Vandenberge of Lakewood, N.J., and a number of nieces and nephews. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Texarkana Gazette, Miller Co., AR, October 14, 1948 MRS. W.C. VANDENBERGE Mrs. W.C. Vandenberge, 55, of Fouke, died in a local hospital Wednesday. Survivors include her husband; three sons, O.W. Vandenberge of Fouke, R.D. Vandenberge of the United States Navy and D. A. Vandenberge, Murfreesboro; four daughters. Mrs. Sam Bruce of Fouke, Mrs. Louis Smith of Texarkana, Mrs. E.F. Whitlock of Little Rock, and Mrs. C.P. White of Rocky Mount, N.C.; five brothers, Allen Smith of Haynesville, LA, Lonnie Smith of Fouke, Lummie Smith of Fouke, Truman Smith of California; four sisters, Mrs. Charley Morrow of Texarkana, Mrs. Josie Baker of Fouke, Mrs. Ted Hopkins of Texarkana and Mrs. Horace Tullos, Garland City, and fifteen grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at the Rocky Mound Church near Fouke with the Rev. Ell Westbrook officiating. Burial will be in Rocky Mound cemetery. Active Pallbearers will include, Willie Bohn, Charley Bohn, Jessie Stewart, Jack Stewart, Arthur Sanders, Arthur Brown, Willard Welch and John Hendron. Honorary pallbearers will be other friends of the family.
