Jan 30, 1929 Surname: Moore Gazette, Jan 31, 1929 Texarkana, Jan 30 - B.B. Moore, aged 86, a resident of Texarkana for 45 years, died at his home late last night. Two weeks ago, blood poisoning developed in a foot, necessitating amputation of the leg between the knee and hip joint. He seemed to be recovering, until three days ago, when pneumonia developed. He is survived by his wife, three daughters, two sons, 21 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Mr. Moore was a Confederate veteran and a member of local A.P. Hill Camp U.C.V., and the Texarkana Pioneers Association. He was president of the Sacred Harp Singers Association of Arkansas, Texas, Louisiana and Oklahoma, and was widely known in those states.
