He is survived by four sons, Roy and Ben of Boston, Mass., Tom of Shreveport, and Charles of Texarkana; four daughters, Miss Marie Parish of Amerillo, Texas and Mrs. Ethel McCabe of this city, and nine grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are incomplete. Texarkana Gazette 2/14/1941 Dr. Tom Parish, Sr. Funeral services for Dr. Tom Parish, Sr. 80, who died at his home at Ashdown, Ark., Wednesday night, will be held at 11 a. m. Friday at the Oak Hill cemetery, near Ashdown. The Rev. Mr. Boyd, Ashdown Methodist Pastor will cunduct the services. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Dr. Parish was born at Owensville, Ky., in 1861 and had been a resident of Little River County for the past 39 years. He is survived by four sons, Ben and Ray Parish, Boston, Mass. Tom, Shreveport, and Charles C. Parish, Texarkana; two daughters, Miss Marie Parrish, Amerillo, Texas, and Mrs. Ethel McCabe, Texarkana, and nine grandchildren.
