Urchin Gilbert Ramsey, 74, of 2103 County in Texarkana died Wednesday in a
local hospital.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the East Memorial Chapel with Dr. J.
W. L. Adams Jr. and the Rev. John Holston officiating.  Burial will be in
Old Rondo Cemetery.

He was a lifetime resident of the area and was retired owner and operator
of Ramsey's Ice Cream Parlor and a member of the Beech Street First Baptist
Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mamye Ramsey of Texarkana, a daughter,
Martha Ramsey of Texarkana; a brother, John T. Ramsey of Texarkana; four
grandsons, Johnny Agan and Kelly Jumonville of Shreveport and Danny Agan of
Atlanta, Ga.; and a great-grandson, Danny Joe Agan Jr.
