October 15, 1929, Texarkana, Oct. 14 - Mrs. Sallie Hunter Shaver, wife of
James D. Shaver, former chancellor, died today at the home of her son, Ben.
R. Shaver, at Ashdown. She is survived by her husband, two sons, Ben and
James, both of Ashdown, and two daughters, Misses Dorothy and Elsie Shaver
of New York City. The funeral will be held at Saint James Episcopal church,
here, Wednesday afternoon.
