Mr. Vann had lived in Texarkana for a long time. He was a member of the Rose Hill Baptist Church and was a Mason. He is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Eva Hicks and Mrs. Maudie Smith of Texarkana, Mrs. Dovie Crank of El Paso, Texas, Mrs. Carrie Faris of Hope, Ark., Mrs. Virda Davis of Emmett, Ark.; four sons, Kiah Vann of Dallas, Joe Vann of Springfield, Ohio, G. Vann of Emmett, Ark., and Claude Vann of McNab, Ark.; one brother, K. P. Vann of Texarkana; 40 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren and one great great grandchild; and a number of nieces and nephews. The body will be taken to the family home late Friday afternoon to remain until the time of the funeral service. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Silveron with Mr. Ell Westbrook and R. J. Simpson officiating. Burial will be in the Silverno cemetery. Pallbearers will be his grandsons. Travis Vann, Charles Vann, James Vann, Emmett Faris, Otis Langston and Raymond Wittershelter. ************************************************************************
