Joe "Sonny" ASHBURN, 86, of Jonesboro died January 19, 1996 at St. Bernards
Hospital in Jonesboro. He was a carpenter and construction builder and of
the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Bennett ASHBURN of Imboden; four
daughters, Charlene DAVIES of Imboden, Mary Jo HIGGINBOTHAM of Joiner,
Alice SPEARS of Joiner, Eva BARBER of Imboden; one son, Thomas "Sonny"
ASHBURN of Impoden; 13 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and five
great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were held Monday, Jan. 22, at 2 p.m. at Musick-Ashburn
Cemetery in Bassett. Roller-Citizens Funeral Home of West Memphis was in
charge of arrangements.
