Mary Sybil BENNETT, 67, of Joiner died at Baptist Memorial Hospital in
Osceola July 6, 1995. She was born Feb. 10, 1928 in enterprise, Ala., was a
housewife and member of the Joiner Baptist Church. She was preceded in
death by her husband, William Roy Bennett, Sr.

Survivors include five daughters, Jackie McCLELLAN of Osceola, Gloria Jean
SHEMPERT of Frenchman's Bayou, Ilean WARHURST of Keiser, Marilyn Grace
TEDDER of Greenville, Miss., and Lisa BENNETT of Joiner; three sons,
William Roy BENNETT, Jr. of Joiner, Danny Ray BENNETT and Sam BENNETT of
Frenchman's Bayou; 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 8, at Joiner Baptist
Church. Burial followed at Bassett Cemetery. Roller-Swift Funeral Home of
Osceola was in charge of arrangements.
