Blytheville - Mrs. Ruth Wyleen BEVILL, age 85, former Blytheville resident,
died Sunday, Feb 2, 1997, at the Southaven Health Care Center in Southaven,
Miss. She was born in Mountain View, Ark. She was a former member of the
New Liberty Baptist Church and was a member of the Union Avenue Baptist
Church in Memphis. She was a former teacher at Burdette Public Schools and
Gosnell Public Schools and Cotton Boll Vo-Tech before retirement. She was a
member of the Arkansas China Painters Association and the Tennessee China
Painter Association.

She was the widow of Shed H. BEVILL and is survived by two sons, Gary H.
BEVILL of Lonoke, Ark., and Jimmy P. BEVILL of Olive Branch, Miss.; two
daughters Beryl FOX of Oxford, Miss., and Mary Kay THOMAS of Big Sandy,
Texas; one brother, J. Ewing IVY of Mountain View, Ark.; one sister,
Winifred Mae IVY of Memphis, Tenn.; nine grandchildren; and eight great-
grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. today in Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with
Rev. Sedric WESSON officiating and burial in Elmwood Cemetery.
