CARSON, died yesterday at Chickasawba Hospital. She was born at Rosa and was a pioneer resident of Mississippi County. She was a member of Memorial Baptist Church. She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Lucy ARMSTRONG of Shafter, Calif., Mrs. Frances BRITTAIN and Bonnie CARSON, both of Blytheville, and Mrs. Naomi RAY of West Memphis; five sons, Leonard CARSON of Camden, Tenn., Finley CARSON of Detroit, Wheeler CARSON, James CARSON and Walter CARSON, all of Blytheville; one granddaughter who was reared in the home, Mrs. Karen Thorp SHARP of Blytheville; twenty-eight other grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday in Cobb Funeral Home chapel, the Rev. Paul KIRKINDALL and the Rev. Jim RUSSELL officiating, with burial in Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 7 to 9 Thursday evening at the funeral home.
