Mrs. Alma COBURN, 101, died Friday at her home in the Sand Ridge
community near Bassett. She was a member of Freewill Baptist Church.

She is survived by three sons, Lloyd and Delmer COBURN, both of
Palmetto, La., and William COBURN of Donaldsonville, La.; two daughters,
Ora BAILEY of Gosnell and Dorothy FLOWERS of Bassett; twenty-two
grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren and 35 great-great grandchildren.

Services were today at 2 p.m. in Joiner Baptist Church, the Rev. Carl
RIDER officiating, with burial in Bassett Cemetery, under the direction
of Roller-Swift Funeral Home.
