Cathy W. COX, 45, of Wilson died March 18, 1995 at her home. She was born
November 5, 1949 in Memphis. She was a kindergarten counselor for Osceola
Public School, a member of First Baptist Church in Wilson where she served
as former church pianist.

Survivors include her husband, Rick COX of Wilson; one son, Jason COX, of
New York City, N.Y.; her mother, Lou WHITAKER of Wilson and one sister,
Carole BURNS of Malvern. She was preceded in death by her father, J.H.
WHITAKER.

Funeral services were held Monday, March 20, at 10 a.m. at Wilson First
Baptist Church with the Rev. Vaughn BLUE and the Rev. Marvin REYNOLDS
officiating. Burial followed at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion. Roller-
Swift Funeral Home of Osceola was in charge of arrangements.
