All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm *********************************************************** (Osceola [AR] Times; Wednesday, August 9, 1995, page 2A) Parks CREWS, 86, of Tularosa, New Mexico died Tuesday, August 1, at Geralld Champion Memorial Hospital in Alamogordo, New Mexico. He was born June 17, 1909 in Wayne County, TN. He moved to New Mexico in 1959 and retired as a maintenance supervisor from the National Park Service at Carlsbad Caverns in 1975. He was also a retired farmer. He moved to Tularosa in 1983, and was a member of the Cuba Avenue Church of Christ in Alamogordo. Survivors include a son, James Parks CREWS and his wife Annell of Los Alamos, New Mexico; two daughters, Nannie Sue CLARK, and Linda ALLEN; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; five sisters and three brothers. He was preceded in death by Helen CREWS; by his parents, Robert and Nannie CREWS; and by five sisters and three brothers. Funeral services were conducted Saturday at the Cuba Avenue Church of Christ with Arnold HOLMES officiating.
