Funeral services for Josie E. ELROD, 79, of Bassett, were held at 3 p.m.
Wednesday, May 13, at the Bassett Presbyterian Church with burial in
Bassett cemetery.

Mrs. ELROD died Monday, May 11, at Crittenden County Hospital in West
Memphis. She was the widow of Hobson ELROD Sr. of Bassett.

Survivors include four daughters, Betty MARTINEZ of Dallas, Martha ELROD of
Bassett, Patricia CARMAN of Garland, Tx., Billie ARECHIGA of Richardson
Tx., four sons, Hobson ELROD Jr. of Bassett, Lindbergh ELROD of Lewisville,
Tx., John ELROD of West Memphis, two sisters, Emma HUBBARD, Madison
Heights, Mich., Ethyl TIGER of Marked Tree, 27 grandchildren, 32 great-
grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Citizens Funeral Home was in charge.
