He was born Jan. 21, 1918 in Whitton, was a retired construction worker, a Mason, member of the New Hope Pentecostal Church in Dyess, and a lifetime resident of Dyess. He is survived by his wife, Helen GAREY of Dyess; four daughters, Carolyn TURNER, Connie HARRISON, Regina BROOK, all of Dyess and Vickie RICHMOND of Williford; one son, Randy GAREY of Dyess; five sisters, Bobbie GLOVER of Knox, IN, Hattie SEYMOUR of Dyess, Mildred HUNTER of Batesville, Mary Sue ROBERTSON of Mishawaka, IN, and Mattie Lou McAFEE of Laporte, IN; 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Funeral services are Wednesday., Feb. 7, at 10 a.m. at the Wilson Funeral Home chapel in Osceola with Bro. Loyce ALLEN officiating. Burial following at Potters Cemetery in Lepanto. Visitation was Feb. 6, 5-9 p.m. at the Wilson Funeral Home chapel in Osceola. Wilson Funeral Home of Osceola was in charge of the arrangements.
