She was born in Florence Ala. and had lived in Whitton before moving to Dyess in 1945. She was a member of the New Hope Pentecostal Church of God in Dyess. Mrs. GAREY leaves her husband, Allie A. GAREY of Dyess; five sons, Edward GAREY of Pine Bluff, Louis GAREY of Dover, Fla., Homer and Billy GAREY of Dyess and Allen R. GAREY of West Memphis; five daughters, Mrs. Bobbie GLOVER of Knox, Ind., Mrs. Mattie McAFEE of LaPorte, Ind., Mrs. Sue ROBERTSON of Mishawaka, Ind., Mrs. Mildred HUNTER of Batesville, and Mrs. Hattie SEYMOUR of Dyess; two sisters, Mrs. Rubye BISHOP of Memphis and Mrs. Lena MILLER of West Memphis. She also leaves 43 grandchildren, 48 great- grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Monday, Feb. 28 at Citizens Funeral Home Chapel in West Memphis with the Rev. Carl APPLING of Dyess and the Rev. William TAYLOR of Woodstock Baptist Church in Memphis officiating. Interment was in the Whitton Cemetery. (Mr. & Mrs. Allie A. GAREY were married 25 March 1917 in Lepanto by Judge J.P. FOREHAND.
