Luxora - Joseph Paul HAYES, 73, of Luxora, a retired tow boat engineer,
died Saturday. HAYES was a member of Luxora Baptist Church, Luxora American
Legion, a former member of Luxora Volunteer Fire Department, and an Army
veteran of World War II.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Roller-Swift Funeral Home of Osceola,
by the Revs. Wilton GOUDEAUX and Ronnie TOON. Burial will be in Mississippi
County Memorial Gardens.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Louise HAYES; two sons, Ron HAYES of Conway
and Billy HAYES of Luxora; a daughter, Paula DRISKILL of Blytheville; three
sisters, Jessie Mae PERRY and Nina CROOK, both of Joiner, and Louise HARLIN
of Albany, N.Y.; and eight grandchildren.
