Mrs. Mittie Lee HOOD, widow of Ted HOOD, of Joiner died Saturday, Dec. 11
at Osceola Memorial Hospital. She was born March 22, 1898 in Monroe County,
Miss. and was 84. She had been a resident of Joiner since 1939 and was a
member of the Joiner Church of Christ.

Funeral services were conducted Monday, Dec. 13 at the Joiner Church of
Christ with Bro. LEE officiating. Interment was in Mississippi County
Gardens with Swift Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Velena TATE of Amory, Miss. and Mrs.
Sereda BUZZARD of Tuscaloosa, Ala. She also leaves 10 grandchildren, 33
great-grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
