Mrs. Alice Toye HOUSMAN, 68, of Joiner, wife of Vester R. HOUSMAN, died
Sunday at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis. She was born in Water
Valley, Miss., and was a resident of Mississippi County most of her life.
She was a member of Wardell Baptist Church.

Besides her husband, she leaves five daughters, Mrs. Mabel RUSSELL of
Memphis, Mrs. Barbara HALL of Norfolk, Va., Mrs. Janice SWINDLE of Aurora,
Ill., Mrs. Jodie CHRISCO of Blytheville and Mrs. Doris Ann BATEY of
Huntingdon, Tenn.; four sons, William HOUSMAN of Pensacola, Gerald HOUSMAN
of Horn Lake, Miss., Ronnie Lynn HOUSMAN of Blytheville and Gene HOUSMAN of
Aurora, Ill.; eighteen grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Wardell Baptist Church with burial
in Bassett Cemetery. Citizens Funeral Home of West Memphis is in charge.
