Joiner - Reginald Eugene "Gene" KOONCE, 58, of Joiner, formerly of Memphis,
Tenn., a retired car salesman, died Wednesday. KOONCE was an Army veteran
of the Korean War and a former member of the Osceola Jaycees.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Joiner Baptist Church. Burial will be
in Louise Chapel Cemetery by Roller-Citizens Funeral Home of West Memphisl.

Survivors are three daughters, Sylvia JENNINGS of Orlando, Fla., Susan
MARSHALL of Joiner, and Leslie BREWER of Walls, Miss.; his father, Malcolm
KOONCE of Steele, Mo.; three brothers, Robert KOONCE of Turrell, Mack
KOONCE of Hot Springs, and Jimmy KOONCE of Kennett, Mo.; a sister, Alma
ROGERS of Jackson, Tenn.; and two grandchildren.
