"Poncho" LaRUE, 69, of Memphis died March 28, 1996 at the Methodist North Hospital in Memphis. He was a machine operator for Humko Industries and a member of the National Rifle Association. He is survived by three daughters, Karen ALLISON of Memphis, Kathy PEARSON of Arizona and Kim BURKEENS of Memphis; one son, Dennis LaRUE of Memphis; One sister, Diane LaRUE of Bassett; two brothers, Edward Eugene LaRUE of Wilson and John LaRUE; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Funeral services were held Monday, April 1, 1996 at 1 p.m. at the Roller- Citizens Funeral Home Chapel in West Memphis. Burial followed at the Bassett Cemetery in Bassett. Roller-Citizens Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
