LUTES, 75, the retired owner and operator of Lutes Store for the past 49 years, died Sunday at Chickasawba Hospital. He was born in Lutesville, Mo., and had been a longtime resident of the New Liberty community. He was a member of the New Liberty Baptist Church, a charter member of the Dogwood Water Association, a Mason and a former member of both the Arkansas and Mississippi County Bowling Associations. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Gertrude Voss LUTES; Two sons, Billy L. LUTES of Roselle, Ill., and Tom LUTES of Lake Villa, Ill.; Three daughters, Mrs. Marilyn SHEARIN of Blytheville, Mrs. Sandra MOODY of Charlotte, N.C., and Mrs. Joann WILLIAMS of Peach Tree City, Ga.; One brother Clyde LUTES of Parma, Mo.; Three sisters Mrs. Floss BONDURANT of Fort Worth, Mrs. Mary APPLEBAUM of Blytheville and Hazel BALLARD of West Memphis; and six grandchildren. Services will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at Cobb Funeral Home chapel, the Rev. Larry KINDRICK and Rev. Alvin McGILL officiating, with burial in Dogwood Cemetery.
