Betty Jo (ELROD) MARTINEZ, 59, of Dallas, Tx., died February 14, 1988. She
was born November 14, 1928 in Bassett, Ar. She was a member of St. Monila
Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husband, Gilbert MARTINEZ of Dallas, Tx.; one
daughter Rebecca BENNETT; four brothers, John Franklin ELROD and Hopson
ELROD both of Bassett, Lindberg ELROD of Lewisville, Tx., David Nolan ELROD
of West Memphis, Ar.; three sisters, Martha ELROD, of Bassett, Patricia
CARMAN of Garland, Tx., Katherine ARECHIGA of Richardson, Tx.; and two
grandchildren.

Services were held February 18, 1988 at Presbyterian Church in Bassett with
Father Conan MAHARR officiating. Burial was in Bassett Cemetery. Roller-
Swift Funeral Home was in charge.
