He was born March 22, 1924 at Jackson, Ar. A retired plumber, the lifetime area resident was a member of Nodena Baptist Church in Wilson, the Wilson Lions Club, a Mason, a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII, and a volunteer fireman for over 40 years. He is survived by his wife, Jean Nash of Wilson; two daughters, Julie WOOD, of Joiner and Jennifer BENNETT of Frenchman's Bayou; a son, James NASH of Wilson; Two sisters, Ethel McCLUNG of Parma, Mo., and Nellie DERY of Vanwert, Ohio; three brothers, Bill NASH of Arnold, Mo., John NASH of Wappapello, Mo and Foster WATSON of Cooter, Mo.; six grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild. Funeral services were held Oct. 22 at Nodena Baptist Church at 2 p.m. with the Rev. J.E.CRAWFORD officiating. Burial followed at Bassett Cemetery. Wilson Funeral Home of Osceola was in charge of the arrangements.
