He was born April 11, 1924 at Fulton, Miss. and was 59. Mr. PICKLE leaves his wife, Mrs. Loretta PICKLE of Bassett; his mother, Mrs. Clara PICKLE of Golden, Miss.; six sons, James PICKLE and Jerry PICKLE,, both of Orlando, Fla., Gerald PICKLE of Frankport, West Germany, Melvin PICKLE of Bassett, Jesse PICKLE of Marie and David PICKLE of Dyess; two stepsons, Carl SIMPSON and Charles SIMPSON both of Bassett; five daughters, Mrs. Jessie BLACKWELL, Mrs Tessie WEST and Miss Tammy PICKLE, all of Dyess and Mrs. Judy BELL and Mrs. Elizabeth BELL, both of Bassett; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Sherry YARBOROUGH of Osceola; five brothers, Robert PICKLE, A.W. PICKLE, and Calvin PICKLE, all of Golden, Miss., Delbert PICKLE of Grand Prairie, Tex. and Bobby PICKLE of Alabama; one sister, Mrs. Sybil AMORY of Chicago, Ill. and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Sunday, Jan. 15 at the First Baptist Church in Wilson. Interment was in Mississippi County Memorial Gardens with Swift Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
