V.H. "Van" RAYBURN, Jr., 80, of Osceola, died June 15, 1991. He was an
elder of Osceola First Presbyterian Church, WWII Army veteran, retired from
Federal Compress & Warehouse Co. of Memphis, Tennessee, played pro football
for Brooklyn Dodgers (1934), and a graduate of the University of Tennessee
at Knoxville.

Survivors include his wife, Mable RAYBURN of Osceola; three sons, V.H.
RAYBURN III of Houston, Texas, David Spence RAYBURN of Fort Worth, Texas,
and Daniel Bibb RAYBURN of New Castle, Delaware; and three grandchildren.

Services were held at 10:00 a.m. June 17, 1991 at First Presbyterian Church
in Osceola with Rev. Joe GRIDER officiating. Burial was in Mississippi
County Memorial Gardens in Osceola. Roller-Swift Funeral Home of Osceola
was in charge.
