Johnny Henry SOUTH, 72, of Joiner, self-employed mechanic, died Wednesday
Feb. 27 at Osceola Memorial Hospital. He was born Aug. 24, 1912. He was a
member of the Bassett Church of God.

He leaves his wife, Mabel SOUTH of the home; three daughters, Martha LLOYD
and Sharon BRADLEY of Collierville, Tenn. and Carolyn BRAWLEY of West
Memphis; a son, Johnny SOUTH of Grand Junction, Tenn.; a brother of
Decatur, Ala.; two sisters, Alice MATTHEWS of Molton, Ala. and Noranee
[Nora Mae?] NEWMAN of Joiner and seven grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted Saturday, March 2 in Citizens Funeral Home
Chapel in West Memphis. Burial was in Crittenden Memorial Park at Marion.
