He was a salesman for Southwestern Improvement Co. Born and reared in Luxora, he had been a resident of Hot Springs for the past 15 years. He was a Methodist and a veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife, Hattie STANFIELD of Hot Springs; one daughter, Mrs. Carol Ann ILENFELD of Hot Springs Village; One son, Mike STANFIELD of HotSprings; One brother, Percy STANFIELD of Jackson, Miss.; Five sisters, Mrs. Lillian COLE and Mrs. Lorraine McCAIN, both of Luxora, Mrs. Elaine FREEMAN of Jonesboro, Mrs. Rayburn CECIL of Parkin and Mrs. Wynette ELKINS of Wilson; Two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Services will be held Friday at 9:30 a.m. in Gross Funeral Home Chapel in Hot Springs. Graveside services will follow at 3:30 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery in Blytheville, the Rev. Aaron BARLING officiating, Cobb Funeral Home in charge of local arrangements. ----- (Osceola [AR] Times; Thursday, July 4, 1985) Forrest STANFIELD, 60, of Hot Springs and formerly of Luxora and Blytheville, died Monday, July 1 in a Jackson, Miss. hospital of an apparent heart attack. He was visiting relatives in Mississippi when he was stricken. Funeral services will be conducted Friday morning in Hot Springs. Graveside services will be conducted Friday afternoon, July 5 at Memorial Park Cemetery in Blytheville at 3:30. Mr. STANFIELD leaves his wife, Mrs. Hattie Permenter STANFIELD, a daughter, Carol and a son, Mike, two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
