Dillie Viola VEACH, 101, of Manila, died Tuesday at the Blytheville county
hospital. She was a pioneer resident of the Manila and Lost Cane area. She
was a member of the Little River Baptist Church. Born in Cecil, Ohio, she
moved to the area in 1900.

She is survived by one son, Donald VEACH of Manila; Three daughters, Effie
SERATT of Missoula, Mont., Rosalie WILLIAMS and Willie Faye DOBBS, both of
Manila; And 28 grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren and a number of great-
great-grandchildren representing 5 generations. She was preceded in death
by two sons, Roy VEACH and Raydo VEACH, and by a daughter, Lorine BAUGHER.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at the little River Baptist Church with
the Rev. Charles RYAN officiating. Burial will be in the Manila Cemetery
under the direction of Howard Funeral Service in Manila.
