He was a retired refinery operater and a member of Bassett Church of God. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Idell WARHURST of the home; Seven sons, Odie WARHURST Jr. and Joseph F. WARHURST, both of West Memphis, Thomas E. WARHURST of Aurora, Ill., Charles L. WARHURST of Shebogan, Wis., Luther C. WARHURST of Harrisburg, Bobby E. WARHURST of Hersher, Ill., and Gary A. WARHURST of Effingham, Ill.; Four daughters, Katherine J. BECHEL of Lonoke, Elizabeth L. WHITE of West Memphis, Linda K. LIBERTY of Joliet, Ill., and Brenda F. ALEXANDER of Columbus, Miss.; Two brothers, Otto WARHURST Sr. of Wilson and Herbert WARHURST of Bassett; Two sisters, Olie SMITH of Osceola and Ruby HOUSE of Portageville; Thirty-two grandchildren and 10 great- grandchildren. Services are today at 2 p.m. at Swift Colonial Chapel, the Rev. Burl LLOYD and the Rev. Edward L. JAMES officiating, with burial in Bassett Cemetery.
