Dear Miss Peter,

     I am in receipt of your check to Authors and Composers, in the amount of 
$5. which arrived several days ago. On your enclosed receipt I have indicated 
the $3 for membership and the remaining $2 as contribution. If this is not the 
way you want it -- if you would rather be reimbursed for the $2, you can let me 
know. I took it for granted you know that out-of-town dues are $2.

     May I invite you to come to the Library Commission office when you are in 
Little Rock? I would love for you to see our collections, particularly our 
Arkansas collection. We also have on deposit in the this office the materials 
and records of Arkansas Authors and Composers Society.

     I would like to have copies of any of your work that you can send us for 
our files here. Especially I would be interested in the trilogy of sonnets 
which you read at the Poetry Day dinner.
