Dearest Lily, "Long time. No write." Louise wrote me that you were receiving stacks of letters every day, so I thought I'd rest off, from writing for a while! The family next door to the west of us, moved away yesterday. Little Karen Musch said that her mother surely was glad for that family to move! Those little boys would come get the Musch children's toys, would also ride their tricycles and bicycles away, and they would do the same to Ingrid's little boys things. Ingrid had told me that she just could not keep toys at home for her children, because of those troublesome neighbor boys. (over) Ethel went to see her dentist in Temple Friday, spent Friday night with Mrs. Rachal who used to live on our block, and then Ethel returned last night. She had bought a pretty two-piece dress of 1/8" red-and-white check, and it looks nice on her. I thought you might like to glance over these clippings, especially the one showing a picture of the suspended ceiling in the Henry VII Chapel. I surely would like to see that Chapel! The sculptured stone must be marvelously beautiful! I have not yet seen even a bud on my sweet peas! I'm beginning to wonder if I will see even one flower before I come home! I am hoping to leave for home on April 30, arriving in Clarendon on May first. I will write to Marjorie and ask her to meet me. I am very, very happy over your improvement, darling. Love and goodnight kisses, Devotedly, Oma File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/ar/monroe/history/letters/peteroma129gms.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/arfiles/ File size: 2.1 Kb
