Washington Post, Jan.12,1908-Fatal Election Fight-Disputer Between Two Arkansas
Men Ends In Death of One-Clarendon, Ark.-Jan.11-As an outcome of an election
dispute here early today between Ladd Carruth and Dolph Bowers, the former was
shot and killed. Bowers is being held, charged with the killing.
